Create Your Own Playable Race.

This 24 page handbook includes the lore, flavor and rules for creating your own bestial race from the wilderness.

With over 50 racial traits to choose from, the Beastmen Race Creator gives you all the tools you need to create a balanced and unique race for your campaigns.

Included are 4 new fully detailed and finished races made using the Beastmen Race Creator:

  • Centaurs are a race of half-men half-horses, long thought lost and scattered, but now making a resurgence in society.
  • Hasera are a mysterious and xenophobic rabbit-folk who dwell in the dark thorny reaches of the briars.
  • The Ilk are tribal hunters, kin to the stag who lay claim to all the forests of the world and hunt massive prey such as giants and dragons.
  • Loxodon are massive zealous elephant warriors who wage an endless crusade against their age old demonic enemies.

Also included is the deity entry for Brog-Bah, the savage and indifferent god of the beastmen.

All "Loot the Boss" Race Creators are completely compatible, so like the idea of a race creator but looking for something a bit more coldblooded? Check out the Scalykind Race creator at which includes more than 70 new racial traits for even more customization options! And be on the lookout for further expansions to our race creator!

Loot the Boss is also proud to present our first animations! The DM's lair is a series of animations that help DM's new and old deal with common issues in their dungeons and dragons experience.

And just to give you an idea of just how many races you can create using this book (and to hit the keyword searches) here's a long list of just some of the races you can create, modify and change to your heart's content! Aven, Batfolk, Catfolk, Centuars, Fauns, Gnolls, Hasera, Ilk, Kenku, Kitsune, Loxodon, Minotaurs, Orang-Pendaks, Otterfolk, Pukwudgies, Ratfolk, Rhino-kin, Satyrs, Sciurians, Sphinxes, Strix, Tengu, Ursa, Vanara, Weasel-kin, Werewolves, Wolf-kin, Yakfolk, Yeti.

(Phew) That's a lot of races, and that's just what we thought of using this book, what will you create?

So I just learned about your race creator while looking for an Insectoid race to play. I love the flavor and balance of the races one can create using even just the Beastmen creator and would love to see more.

This leads into my question:
When the Ultimate Race Creator is finished will it be available on DriveThruRPG or was it a Kickstarter exclusive?

Hey i purchased this along with the scalykind book and right now I feel like most of the money i spent on this book went into the scalykind book than this one.
In my opinion compared to scalykind this one has less traits, some of the traits feel open to being mixed/combo with each other than scalykind.
The illustrations feels unfinished and in the mobility traits the ability score change for wings is missing.
This need a big update.
With my experience of making races with scalykind, I look forward for what you can do to fix these issues and add new content.

This was our first attempt at the race creator concept and once the Ultimate Race Creator is finished I think you'll be happy with the changes.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
