Hidden Realms is a game designed with younger gamers in mind.

The game is a way to introduce young gamers to the concepts and mechanics common to a lot of rpgs.

The focus of the game is always on keeping the players engaged and having fun – all the rules are designed with ease of play in mind.

The Hidden Realms pdf contains tips and mechanics for helping younger gamers get in to rpgs and get the most from them. The pdf contains ready to play scenarios and pre-generated characters.

We have had many games with gamers as young as six, with an average age of nine for the testing.

More experienced gamers also enjoy the game – the system is simple enough to be flexible, allowing them to adapt it to the style of game they need.

Hidden Realms is a fantasy world rpg, utilising a lot of familiar concepts such as magic and monsters.

Hidden Realms is a role playing game (RPG) set in the mysterious, magickal, mythical world that exists along-side our own real world.

Hidden Realms is a game that can be played with 2-6 Players and a Games Master.

All you need to play are some pens, pencils, paper, some six sided dice and some people with the imagination and willingness to set off on a great adventure.

The Hidden Realms game is aimed at the younger Player, and would suit anyone from six upwards as a Player.

There is plenty of scope to develop games in the Hidden Realms to suit more mature minded gamers: there is room for all within the Hidden Realms.

Hi there,

It uses a D6 - Attribute + Skill to hit target number to succeed based on difficulty level. Combat is fast and simple, as is magic. There are two magic systems, a free-form one of description and resolution and a spell / skill based one similar to those you'll find in other rpgs.
The system is designed to get out the way of the playing :)

hi, sorry to bother you but what is the "normal" difficulty? I the book aviable in hardback? And is the game is heroic ( i mean, can a solo player hopes to defend himself against a bunch of goblins as example ) ?

Hi there, no bother at all :)
Simple 4, Easy 5, Not So Easy 7, Hard 10, Very Difficult 13, Nearly Impossible 16.
Stat + skill + D6 - D6 is roll again on a 6 and add the 6.
Hardback is in proof-reading now, most probably be available in 5-6 days.
It can easily be heroic though a bunch of Goblins (more than 3) will be a tough combat! There are a few ways to change things up to allow it to be more heroic, explored in the rules and setting. It's not primarily designed for solo play though.
