It has been the bane of my existence. I've done seven different rough drafts and I hate all of them. I'm still hopeful that I'll be able to write one for it, though.

Just bought this based on Seth's review. For $2 I'm not expecting an adventure that is a "read and run".

There's a bunch of comments here that seem to be beating the author with the Skorkowski review. I think the review was net-positive, and the fact that it brought this adventure after watching the review supports that.

Looking forward to running it.

I really appreciate the January 2023 map updates-and if there is a sequel to the first adventure-I'm interested.

Just purchased this adventure. I went through the comments below, and as such I know the name Seth Skorkowsky may be a sore spot, but his review gives a glowing recommendation, and is the reason I decided to purchase it. I look forward to running the adventure, as well as any further adventures you may write.

I found this module to be really cool. I was introduced to it from the video series by Seth Skorkowsky. He has a few criticisms of the module but I think for the price, you're getting a very good value and platform to launch your adventure.

I look forward to the next one in the series. I hope it doesnt require the pcs to be larcenous (one of my main critiques of Traveller adventures).

I am keen to get the next part(s?) of this adventure, I see there was a rough draft of part 2 a year ago. Any thoughts on when it will be available?

I found Seth skorowsky's review to be sadly pedantic. He seems not to understand the limitations of someone publishing on a limited budget nor the restrictions placed on you by publishing under the Mongols traveller license. Worse still be pretty much gives away the entire modules contents through his review.

Skorkowsky does put a spoiler warning on each of his Traveller module reviews right at the start, and clearly states that the review is for GMs only.

For $2, it's a nifty adventure.

Skorkowsky clearly states in his videos that he is going to spoil all of the major points of the adventure in order to critique it. Additionally, his criticisms are all of the design and narrative choices made by the writer, none of which are limited by budget or licence agreement (with the exception of *one* of his proposed solutions to one of his issues, which would be a licencing issue, but he also provides two alternative solutions)

Otherwise, all of his problems with the module seemed completely reasonable to me.

That all said, it's ridiculous that so many people are here commenting "Seth didn't like it, so neither do I". It's childish and doesn't achieve anything. I think there are some great ideas in here for an experienced GM to adapt, even if the execution is poor in places.

Seth Skorkowsky’s YouTube review makes me very interested in buying this product, despite his negative comments. I always adjust purchased adventures and excising bits or adding others bits is no problem if most of the premise/story and scenarios are good and based on his review this seems to have that

I agree that Mr SKirkowsky raises some good points. I, persoanlly, used another product (Free to play Starship Geomorphs-Traveller by Robert Pearce) as a way of 'Expanding' one of the encounters to suit my hoped for players and our game.

I sincearly look forwards to the next installment to find out about more of the mysteries presented by Mr Wilson.

I've also been following Seth Skorkowsky's review series on this scenario and it's bringing up serious issues with it as written and published. If the author is watching the series, they should start thinking about an updated version to address them.

It is what it is. I'm not going to pull a Lucas and go back and change the product. I may update the maps at some point in the future and I may do some grammar changes, but other than that it will be exactly as it is. I have been enjoying Seth Skorkowsky's review of the module and he is using it exactly as intended. No gamemaster should think that it is the duty of any written module to hold your hand through everything. Your job, as a gamemaster, is to take a module and make it your own for your group.

There is a difference between holding the GMs hand, giving them enough information to run the scenario with improvisation and forcing them to improvise to paper over the cracks. From what's been shown in Seth's review series, this scenario is falling into the third category. It's not bad form to revise a product after criticism.

You are under the assumption that a creator is obligated to change something because there was criticism. Unfortunately, you're wrong.

Wow. I thought his review of it made it sound like a fun purchase. Not really thrilled with the discussion here though. I don't expect a $2 adventure to cover everything and you seem a little crotchety which maybe I am too. Has the adventure series continued? Is it good filler for the Drinax campaign?

I have been working on the second adventure in the series and it has gone through several rough drafts. I've been unhappy with all of them, however. But it is an active project that I am working on. As for filler for the Drinax campaign, I admit that there are some things in the module that could lead to characters being a bit more powerful by the end than intended for Drinax. Though, given the potential lethality of the Drinax campaign, that may not be a bad thing.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
