Hello and welcome, adventurers and Game Masters!

In this one-shot adventure, your players will stumble upon an ancient elven shrine while traveling on a mission through the vast, wild and uncharted Dlútha Forest in the Red Eagle Barony. Your players will have an opportunity to explore this ancient place and discover its secrets. It may provide them with answers to questions about the earlier ages of their realm, and clues as to the current power struggles among the deities and demons that hold sway there.

SYNOPSIS: While the players are following an ancient, forgotten elven trade route, they stumble across a beautiful and grand elven ruin. Unbeknownst to them, they have discovered a powerful elvish holy site, a shrine dedicated to the chief god in their pantheon, Corcul’lain, and the final resting place of one of their greatest heroes, the elven high king Xandred Dartunian. This site held great significance for the elves, and thus it was a perfect target for a raid by dark elves and the forces of evil. Ages ago a group of dark elves sought to overrun the shrine and use it as a base of operations from whence to raid the surface world and to assault the nearby elven city of Caisleán Sí. The dark elves planned their raid meticulously and even enlisted the aid of a demonic succubus to fight alongside them. The evil forces tunneled right up into the oldest part of the shrine complex and a hard fought battle ensued between the two elven forces. However, the elves of light won the day when the shrine’s caretaker, calling on Corcul’lain’s power, magically trapped the demon and then sacrificed herself by calling an earthquake that destroyed the dark elves and their tunnel, thereby ending the invasion. With the demon trapped and the invaders dead, the site was sealed and wards and watchers placed over it. Over time, some of the corpses of the dark elf invaders have become undead due to the polluting negative plane energy flowing from the trapped demon. This is the state of the shrine when the players stumble upon it.

This supplement contains a completely original one shot adventure, fully detailed and ready for immediate use with very little preparation by the GM or the players! Inside this module you will find great Old-school art and a detailed map of the elven shrine, with keyed encounters for each area. This module also includes a detailed world map of the nation of the Red Eagle Barony, done in the Old School style, with areas for further exploration. This book reveals, for the first time, the hidden secrets of the ancient elven wood in the center of the Barony. This adventure is intended for a party of 4-6 players of 4th to 6th level, and a fully prepared group of six (6) pre-generated player characters is included for use by players or the GM. The module can be completed in a couple 3-4 hour sessions, providing a play time of 6 to 8 hours!
