2018 Ennie Nominated!

Starfinder Compatible!!

There's so much more to martial combat than swinging a sword, and so much more to martial characters than waiting for the next fight.
Spheres of Might is a brand new approach to building martial characters in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. From the makers of Spheres of Power, Spheres of Might changes combat into a cinematic experience, replacing boring, repetitive combats with tactical decisions, dynamic exchanges, and a host of options that let martial characters be as fun to play outside of combat as they are inside.
Within this book, you'll find:
8 New Classes — including the armiger, the blacksmith, the commander, the conscript, the scholar, the sentinel, the striker, and the technician.
23 Combat Spheres — granting a host of new abilities based on concept, including alchemy, athletics, barrage, barroom, beastmastery, berserker, boxing, brute, dual wielding, duelist, equipment, fencing, gladiator, guardian, lancer, open hand, scoundrel, scout, shield, sniper, trap, warleader, and wrestler.
Full Archetype Support — both for new classes and old classes, giving a breadth of new options for creating and enjoying martial play.
Legendary Talents — for when games deserve to become truly epic, legendary talents allow games to reach beyond the gritty to truly mythical proportions, including leaping mountains, stealing skills, and bending armies of monsters to your will through sheer force of personality.
Non-Magic Support — with the help of the scholar's knowledge, the blacksmith's skills, and the technician's inventions, Spheres of Might gives a variety of options to facilitate games with little or no magic at all, greatly expanding the stories that can be told with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game without requiring extensive re-balancing.
GM Support — including monsters from CR 1-21, along with guidelines for making the most of cinematic combat and the Spheres of Might system in your games.
NPCs for every new class to spark ideas or drop into a game.
Starfinder Conversion — giving you the information needed to adapt the system to Starfinder rules.
And much, much more!

So I just got these files. I install them and get this:

Source 'pDDSSoM' - Reference to non-existent parent source 'pDropDead'

This error repeats with a number of other sources as well. what is this? How do I fix it? Iv took every measure I can to try and get these files to play nice and they simply won't. Iv uninstalled ALL other third-party content, if disable all purchased actual hero lab content, this error still displays.

Any solution to this would help.

Thanks for reaching out! My recommendation is to try the following to fix your install:

-Click through the errors and load Hero Lab into a new Pathfinder portfolio.
-Go to Tools>Manage Third Party Updates.
-Delete all Sphere installations.
-Close Hero Lab, and reopen.
-Now, install any of your Sphere products through the Find Updates window. Theoretically you can do this in any order, but if you own other spheres products & are wary of computer gremlins, I would do Spheres of Might, Champions of the Spheres, Ultimate Spheres of Power, and then Bear/Wild Magic handbook. Note that the old Spheres of Power HL files are overwritten by the USoP release.
-As a reminder, the update URLs can be found in the Readme.html included in each purchase.

That process should leave you with a clean, current, & functional install. Please reach out to me at dropdeadstudios.herolab(at)gmail.com if you have any questions or further issues....See more

Sorry for the confusion! For that step: open Hero Lab, select the Pathfinder game system, and click "Load Game".
Hero Lab requires that you load the game system before it allows you to manage the 3rd party updates.

Hi,

Animal companions don't seem to have the Martial Beast archetype available for selection under "Add ARTs & Animal Archetypes" on the Minion tab. http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/martial-beast

Is this going to be added in a future update or is this a bug that it isn't displaying?

Thanks.

Hi there
I've just downloaded and updated your hero lab files and whilst they work correctly in Windows I cannot get them to work on the iPad version of Hero lab.
I am getting errors such as DDS_Common - Helper Things.user (line 3) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('abSopCast') - found in 'DDS_Common - Helper Things.user', 'DDS_Common - Helper Things.user' (and many more similar). I am assuming these are the files from the Spheres of Power and the Spheres of Might modules.
Am I not supposed to load both the Spheres of Power and the Spheres of Might modules together?
I am loading Pathfinder Roleplaying Game v14.17, a small custom item module (tested that it isn't the cause of this error), Spheres Of Power Telekenetic's Handbook v1.4, Destroyer's Handbook v1.7, Spheres Of Power Expanded Options v1.7, Spheres of Power v1.37, Spheres of Might v1.4, Pathfinder Pack v1.20 (community pack). All the DDS modules were updated from the links in the readme.html files.

Having just given a character Dancer Training for the first time, it appears to be giving the benefits of Bushido Training instead. I'm not proficient with rapiers for example, but I am with katanas.

I have all of the hero lab files for the Spheres of Power already loaded (with all updates, including the new one that says it is meant for SoM compatibility) but loading this HL file broke all of my spheres stuff (for Power and Might). It was working really well, and I was really excited for this. Upon loading I see this set of errors, and then once loaded tons of errors (not all related to Spheres) which makes me wonder if it is related to the most recent HL update changing things (also updated right before this file was loaded). Here's a pic of the first set of errors that do look related to Spheres of Power: https://monosnap.com/direct/Ki9zXjhxREctUdghMifNpRwFNczRUR

That error is from an older version of Expanded Options; if you update that it should be fine. For further assistance, contact dropdeadstudios.herolab@gmail.com

Thank you very much! Reloading that file from the website updates fixed the issue for me (even though it didn't say that was new). Leaving this comment here incase someone else is helped by it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
