Heroes All

Play a day in the life of your own comic book! Heroes All casts you as the writer and main character of your own comic. Come up with your powers, create your antagonist, and explore your shared world. Anything from superheroes to space opera to working at a convenience store, play your characters' everyday lives while playing each other's antagonists.

In Heroes All, players pick their superpowers, which could be from the standard set (eg flight and strength) something weird (manipulate traffic lights), or just character traits (honesty, leadership). Dice get attached to those and players spend rolls at a die size of their choice. To recharge their powers, players do a scene in conflict with another player character.

Growth adds and strengthens powers, but also but moves your character along an archetype chart, helping you figure out what kind of story you want to tell.

Settings help the same way, but in Heroes All, settings are comic book "big events" for each decade your shared universe has existed. There are suggestions for playing in and around these plots, or you can strike out on your own.
