The Faithful Few

Dominick_Flame_Cat_small_dtrpg.pngThe world has changed. Reality as you know it is gone, as are many of those you’ve come to know and appreciate over the years. But not all of them.

The Faithful Few explores four classes from our original Pathfinder® Roleplaying Game content as they exist in Pathfinder Second Edition.

Contents

Convoker

  • The convoker is a full divine spellcaster (9th level) creates and modifies a physical form through which the avatar of his god can affect change on the material plane.

  • 3 Avatars - Celestial, Fiendish, and Nature

  • 21 class feats including blessings that improve or transform your avatar

  • 11 focus spells

Dragon Speaker

  • The dragon speaker hails from a realm of dragons, where her flight grants her power in exchange for her devotion.

  • 3 Dragon Speaker Paths - dragon warrior, totem bearer, and true-form devotee

  • 10 dragon flights to choose from, including all chromatic and metallic dragons

  • 57 class feats that allow you to expand your flight's influence, garner more favor on your path, or become more draconic.

Midnight Legate

  • The midnight legate follows the tenets of order when hunting dangerous magic users, but brings with him a sense of justice not everybody can agree with.

  • 4 factions - Libris Consortium, Lorekeepers, Mage Hounds, and Shadow Stalkers

  • 46 class feats that allow you to better counter magic-using enemies.

  • The Dawnbringer class archetype blends the line between legate and champion who assists her allies in their battle against evil and dangerous spellcasters.

Warlock

  • The warlock is a full occult spellcaster (9th level) who draws occult strength and power from the patron with whom she has signed a life-changing pact.

  • 6 otherworldly patrons - Council of Fiends, Faerie Court, Great Old Ones, Merciless Sea, Sisters of Fate, and Undying Masters

  • 3 pact boons - Commanding Leash, Eldritch Weapon, and Tome of Secrets

  • 49 class feats that grant you access to invocations, improve your spellcasting, or expand you power through your patron or pact boon.

  • 30 invocations

Plus, each has a multiclass archetype dedication you can choose if you wish to dabble in the faith as another class.

With your help, these classes can once again fill the world, honoring those lost along the way. They are the Faithful Few.

Update 1-29-23 Cleaned up the warlock and added new 1st-level invocations granted by, but not restricted to, the otherworldly patrons.

Will the SRD site be updated with it? (If it isn't already of course)

Thanks for still updating, rebalancing and fixing the books content in general!

Absolutely, I will make sure to do that as soon as I'm able (finishing up Patreon for the month at the moment).

Hello, our DM let us peek into the books, and I'd like to bring it to your attention, that Channel Darkness is simply missing from the PDF and the SRD. And, was Channel Elements supposed to have the Death trait? Seems strange.

*UPDATED 3/3/21*
* Cleaned up the overall appearance, with not-so-harsh colors for the traits and other content in every class.

* Rebalanced the convoker to bring it in line with existing classes and help it survive a little better both with and without its avatar.

* Rebalanced the dragon speaker in order to bring each of the paths in line with each other. Previously, the dragon warrior was far and away stronger than either of the other two options, and closer to accurate when compared to other classes, so we increased the power of the other paths to match.

* Reworked the midnight legate to be capable of fighting more than just spellcasters. While their focus remains on magical creatures and those who can cast spells, they're not doing nothing when faced with an average soldier. We also put more emphasis on their class fantasy so they don't feel just like magic-hating rangers anymore.

* When revisiting warlocks, it was clear that they were the most powerful...See more

PURCHASER
Hello, I have a question about warlock's pact boon. When Commanding Leash and Tome of Secrets say "You gain one extra spell of each level you can cast (1st through 9th).", does that mean one spell per level in spell repertoire, one spell slot per level, or both?

It should be both. This is meant to allow non-weapon using warlocks to remain unchanged from their previous incarnation in case they already made the character before this update. In this case, only the weapon-wielding warlock "technically" lost spells because they were the more powerful option previously. We did compensate them, though, by granting more hit points and a few new options combat-wise. Hope that helps.

This is a fantastic book, filled with lots of new material- bringing a fresh new perspective.

For clarification, on page 30 (pdf page 31), is the Midnight legate feat Spellbook, which gives a number of cantrips and an increasing amount of spells. It also says that you study and prepare them as a wizard of your level. My question is: with this feat, do you gain the spell slots of a wizard equal to your level?

Spellbook Feat 1
MIDNIGHT LEGATE
Prerequisites Libris Consortium regiment
You keep a journal containing notes on the spells you have seen in your career. This counts
as a spellbook worth 10 sp or less, which you receive for free and must study to prepare
spells each day as if you were a wizard of the same level. The journal contains your choice
of 10 cantrips and five 1st-level spells from any tradition (arcane, divine, occult, or primal)
in which you are trained with the associated skill (Arcana, Religion,...See more

It does not grant the spell slots to cast the spells, it only grants you access to the spells so that you can counteract them more easily.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
