APOCalypse 2500™ Alcatraz Adventure Scenario L 1-3

There are many local stories about the old prison, the most recent of which, speaks of the islands use as a research station sponsored by a group of scientists working for a corporate conglomerate, until one summer evening when all hell broke loose. A small group of fishing boats trawling near the island first heard gunfire around midnight. The fishermen reported seeing muzzle flashes and hearing automatic weapons fire. Shortly after the fighting stopped a small boat left the fortified dock, heading up the bay to the east, never to be seen again.

Months went by before one of the fishing boat crews dared land on Alcatraz, only to vanish without a trace. Several parties of armed explorers and at least one pirate crew are known to have landed over the years, they too never returned. To this day no one who has set out to explore the island's interior has ever returned to tell of what they found
