It does not matter if you love the City,...

you could just as well hate it, respect it or pity it. It will not return your feelings. It simply does not care about you. Not out of a conscious decision, but because it does not take notice of you, does not need to and will never do. The City goes on. It decays and rejuvenates, vulgarizes and shines, moans and sings, hibernates and sways, swells and falls apart. All to the rhythm of the people that push themselves through it while they follow the current they mutually generate for another.

“You against the City” is a collection of 36 potentially harmful incidents, written for and compatible with Dark Streets & Darker Secrets”(tm). It also contains suggestions for the Referee how to insert them into the game. It is furthermore an adaption of, and has been build upon, 30 Random Problems – Cyberpunk, an older release of mine.
