I'm wondering if there might be a mistake on Dr. Phlox with his Medicine discipline. A Medicine rating of 2 with a Command rating of 3 while having Doctor's Orders seems odd. Does his rating in Medicine or Command need to be adjusted, or his Talent of Doctor's Orders? Also, shouldn't his Medicine rating of 2 be higher considering he is the CMO?

Also, thank you for releasing the Enterprise crew for use. Star Trek Adventures is one of my top two favorite RPGs today. All of your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.

I haven't purchased it (yet), but I got a look at the sample page of Archer. It gave me similar feelings about some of his ratings; namely Command 5 (fine, although he's the least 'commanding' ST Capt.), but Conn 3? He was a test pilot on the Warp 5 development project! I mean, despite Picard's reputation as a pilot, I would expect a 3 for him, but Archer? He should be the ONE Capt. to maintain a 5 Conn...and 4 Command. Also, Security 3 and Engineering 2 should probably be flipped.

/rant.

PS: I too am fully impressed by the work on this game. Outstanding!...despite my gripes. I kid because I love.

Phlox's stats are wrong; not sure how he ended up with Hoshi's stats, but it happened. It's been submitted for a fix, so hopefully it'll be fixed and a revision issued very shortly.

By the end of season 4, Archer wasn't such a hotshot pilot anymore. He'd had to devote his time to being the diplomat between the Andorians and the Vulcans. Conn went down, Command went up. He was also fighting more than he was fixing things. Engineering went down, Security went up.

That said, if you want to swap some numbers around...hey, you bought it. It's yours now; swap to your heart's content. :)

Thank you for updating him until the PDF corrections are published. He remains one of my favorite characters from Enterprise.

Off topic, is there discussion at all about publishing one long campaign (like a two-part episode of the series or even a movie) rather than a single episode style from the two adventure books we've seen thus far? And are any adventures (long or short) planned that involve time travel (using the Guardian of Time, an Orb, or anything else)? I've used time travel twice in my campaign since the Core Rulebook was released at GenCon, and my players loved it.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
