"The Divine Crusader is a prestige class that takes the smite ability to new levels. A 10 level class with the ability to dazzle, cause fear, or inflict energy damage instead of the traditional smite evil. A Divine Seeker forsakes the use of heavy armor as they wish to wander more freely. Their abilities are martial in focus instead of spiritual. There is definitely contrast between these two prestige classes and the previous core classes show how flexible the d20 system is when imagination is applied to existing classes." (more)

Unorthodox Paladins is our biggest book yet in our very popular Unorthodox series. This massive 100 page book takes the core Paladin class and turns it upside down. Ever wanted a Paladin with better spellcasting? Ever wanted a Paladin with no spellcasting? Well Unorthodox Paladins answers these questions and more.

This incredible book has the following:

4 thrilling tales of Paladin heroism!
6 new core Paladin classes, each with a full flavor description and a full 20 levels!
2 new Paladin prestige classes, each reaching 10 levels!
1 Major artifact, The Deck of Dreams!
1 Artifact Set (multiple artifacts that become more powerful as you complete the set)!
9 Baubles & Urus (mini artifacts)!
8 new Paladin Spells, because we know how much it sucks to share your spells with those other pesky core classes!

align=But that's not all! This product comes with a portrait pdf (fully bookmarked) for easy printing, Landscape pdf (fully bookmarked) for easy online reading, and our standard Rich-Text-Document version for easy cut / copy / paste (because we know how much it sucks to do that in Acrobat Reader).

Still not sure? Well check out the free demo!

There are a lot of great oxymoron in the universe: virtual reality, old news, living dead, Microsoft Works and my personal favorite, military intelligence. But I never have I heard of a better ironic phrase than Unorthodox Paladin. The 101 page PDF by [...]

I really like this book, and have used 2 classes so far, one a tag-along NPC and another for an antagonist, and both went very well. I like that a few don't get spells, but have some divine style spell-like abilities. My favorits so far a [...]

Plenty of material here with new paladin classes and prestige classes. I didn't find any of them really interesting or exciting though. I got more out of the artifacts and spells. I usually don't read fiction in my rpg products (I hardly ever read [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
