Warden (Base Class)

Reclaim The World for Nature!

Wardens are not made, they are formed. Those who died on sacred ground may awake to find themselves to have escaped death’s icy grasp. The forest choses those of a balanced heart to be its champions- infusing their form with an iota of primal power.

Wardens wield the fury of the forest, armored with root and thorn and staving off those who would upset nature’s harmony. Wardens are part plant, part man, and all warrior. Wardens themselves are a mysterious lot- forbidden from living in urban environments or partaking in technological wonders.

  • Chassis: d10, full BAB (+20 at 20th), 4 + Int mod skill points.
  • "Zones": One of the main mechanics of this class is to define an area around you and kind of terraform it into some kind of natural terrain. Magical effects can be added to it depending on how you reclaim it for nature.
  • Planar Warden (Warden Archetype): Bring slices of other planes to this one!
  • Beast Knight (Warden Archetype): Unleash the beast with this archetype! It changes up how the warden works, making it more focused on delivering natural attack and gaining the ability to wild shape.

Hey, I'm having issues with this loading correctly in Adobe Reader for my Android phone. You may want to see if there's some sort of optimization issue going on. I've tried opening other pdfs I bought at the same time from Drivethru and they are working well and the Warden opens in Adobe on my cpu and through google drive (which I use to transfer it to my phone) with delays, but on my phone it just loads to a white screen and never boots up.

    Hi Graham,
So I went ahead and downloaded it onto my own Android from this site and let it load up. It worked but did take a few seconds to load pages. This is because phones have far less processing power and this is a fairly big document. I will see about maybe doing a Print Friendly version that should work better on your phone.

Went ahead and exported a simply print friendly version for you. If you download that one and open it, it should work more smoothly on your phone.

Kk I'll take a look. I usually don't have this problem even with large files like the Core Rulebook or other larger tomes so we'll take a look.

    Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
    Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
