This is a worthy successor to the Twilight:2000 Version 1 Sourcebooks produced by GDW. Great read and adventure ideas. The call out to Led Zeppelin made me smile. Wonder if any of the 9th Light Infantry Division (Motorized) FAV's could be considered to be found at Fort Lewis?

Black & White plans of the 600 ton type M subsidised liner as used in Traveller by the great Loren Wiseman. There is background and a breakdown of each section with details for various versions of Traveller.
I had to purchase these, but many cheaper plans these days are available in colour.

I liked the fact there were 2 versions of each one so you can use a standard deckplan or modify to suit your campaign, or traveller's alterations.

I just got my POD copy as a replacement for my long lost original. It's excellent. In fact, it's pretty difficult to tell that it is a POD rather than a superb condition original. The only issue is that a few of the pictures are a bit fuzzier than I remember. Also, some of the maps of Europe had red markings showing troop dispositions and boundries. My POD copy turnes these to black lines which makes seeing these marks very difficult. Otherwise though you're getting an excellent clone of the original that is WAAAAAYYYYYYY cheaper than grabbing an original copy from Ebay or Amazon.

The content is good and what i wanted. But.......How abotu colour scans and not shitty black and white ones. The artwork is one of the great things about this game and the modules produced for it. I rate this 5 stars for content. One star for scan quality.

Fantastic job on integrating T2000 canon into the sourcebook, and a wonderful depiction of post-apocalyptic PacNW. I grew up in Oregon, so this is near and dear to me. Very likely our longstanding Twilight 2000 campaign will visit the NW before wrapping up.

Great content, but made hard to use in a vtt environment as some of the text labels for rooms are upside down and the scouts are shown with the squares diagionally at 45 dgrees, so needs work to use...

The title is not misleading. This is a full fledged character dossier. Only gripe I have with this is that it does not come edit ready for easy computer fill in. It seems a bit over engineered for game play. Of course, I think T2103 was a bit over ambitious in that regard. Still, if you like detail and want every block checked, this could even be repurposed for other games with some creativity. I will also add it has the forumales handy so this actually helps with character generation.The only reason this gets a 3 instead of 5 is because this does have the potential of being too much detail. Properply divided up, this material could work fine if you had say one or two people solely devoted to keeping track of NPCs while the GM can focus on the over all story.

T2000 Fanzine reminds me in a way of The Eternal Soldier periodical that GDW tried to launch. I like the idea of a magazine that devotes issues to specific issues through out the T2000 timeline, which adds depth to the doings of other soldiers, nationals and survivors. Definitely a great supplement to add to stories - both old and new. Especially with the new T2000 4.0 rules coming, I think there is something special.

This is a game that sweats the small details - in a good way. T2K has a special place in my heart and the 2.2 rules (I own the 2.0) is a big improvement especially when a player wishes to really flesh out their characters. I only wish that there was a far more active community, but I have found some online. Detailed and fun, though dated by todays standards. I appreciate it more as I am a child of the 1980s and grew up under Reagan and the struggle between East and West, so it resonates with me.

Interesting tools-suggestions-something in a too large package, usless for actual gaming and the tools needs to be tweaked and snaity checked (and errata corrected) to be useful.
So, do not buy but look at it if someone gifts it to you.
This may be one of the largest cons in the gaming world, and it just goes on and on.

It is an interesting setting and a decent core-mechanic (roll a d20 under a target score, which is an 'asset' (a skill plus attribute) doubled, halved or quartered and so on for difficulty). The combat system is crunchy but reasonably simple once you get used to it and just as importantly, have organized the information you need better. The character generation system and background are conceptually fine but woefully implemented, since the designers have not quite thought through how these systems interact with the core mechanic properly. The rules for interacting with environment and surviving are excellent, as is much of the system dealing with encounters and NPCs and so on, although the GM is left to deal with some quite important issues (ones of campaign design on the one hand and on how to run encounters with large numbers of combatants on the other) with insufficient guidance. Min-maxing is easy: so easy that I am unsure as to whether the authors designed it purposefully that way or not. The rules are quite badly organized and bloated too, given the central simplicity. There is a good game in there, but it will need some help to emerge. The character system is too hardwired to easily do much about though.

Some of these scans are pretty poor quality. Not sure who provided them, and it doesn't obscure the content (thankfully), but still pretty poor quality. Surely there are better hard copies out there (I have most of these and they're in better shape for sure).
