100 NPCs You Might Meet At The Tavern
by Kris Y. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/16/2018 16:40:15

Love it! I especially enjoy the Gome and Halfling ones. Its nice to see NPCs with more interesting traits then the typical "hooded figure in the corner", or random tavern folk. A good thing to have for any DM looking to add flavor to towns and taverns and add a bit more rp to their sessions.

If you're tired of only seeing drunkards and wenches in your taverns, this is the resource for you! Concepts range from rogues to clerics and everything in between. Heck, you may even decide to continue using these NPCs for your campaign or even to create your own character!

A Baker’s Dozen of Rumours (And The Truth Behind Them)
by Customer Name Withheld [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/07/2018 19:57:37

A solid collection of rumors that can be used as simple world building or easily expanded into full plot arcs. The skeletons presented here can be fleshed out to fit any setting, and there's enough variety to suit the interests of whatever adventuring party comes to the table.

Well written. A good helping hand for DMs to help get players interested in a setting. Good for one shots or even worked into longer running campaigns with minimal tweaking.

Well done! The scenarios are well thought out and written, with the obvious "truth" and then the back story that reveals "the rest of the story." A creative way to enliven any game!

Even if all you're doing is looking for inspiration or ideas for your campaign, this is a great place to start. These rumors can be worked into any campaign to add a bit of flavor and, with a bit of work from the DM, entire campaigns can be made using these rumors as a foundation. Each rumor is present with how a character would perceive the rumor then followed up with each step of figuring out the truth of the rumor. If anything, the rumors would intrigue even the most unruly of players into investigating. I would definitely recommend this for any DM to utilize in their campaigns.

A solid collection of rumors that are easily placed into any campaign setting by making a few tweaks, if that. The amount of detail is perfect allowing for as much or as little customization as you want in order to fit them to your world or to your players' playing style.

Wonderful set of rumors and truths, each with an intriguing set-up and a fun twist in the end! Each has the potential to springboard your players into other adventures, to build upon a facet of the world you drop them into, and to get the imagination roiling- an excellent source of inspiration!

Star Mangled Manor
by Adam S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 03/10/2018 12:23:56

Completely unoriginal! It literally tells you to look up a single momster from another source and use it. It gives absolutely no story and not loot, not explainatoin except some random "lord" wanted loot and failed. pitiful, awful! as a DM I am ebarrased for your PCs. i would ask for a refund, but at .34$ I accept this as valuable XP for "you get what you pay for".

Star Mangled Manor
by Kai P. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/14/2018 12:03:38

What we have here is one-page affair (in regard to content, without the legal text, artwork, etc.) To get to the point, this supplement falls short of delivering a good encounter description. It has fancy artwork, a good kick-off for the thing to come (a nice scene description and a backdrop story), but as soon as that is established... it fails to provide any meaningful tips on how the combat encounter should play out. You get the stats, but in regard to running the encounter you get lines like (quote) “When playing the Raukamar/Balor you should remember that they have innate magical abilities and these should be used to maximum effect!” “In any event, if the demon looks in danger of defeat then it will flee using magic to avoid pursuit.” To me, this does not really provide help for running a combat encounter. By the by, do not expect a manor. The manor is a smoldering ruin right before the combat encounter starts.

The combat encounter Creatures of the night is well-written,interesting and I suppose fun to play.As a storyteller for Vampire:the Dark Ages V20,I found this product rather interesting and decided to use Gargoyles with their Tremere masters as antagonists for my next session.

A Baker’s Dozen of Post-Apocalyptic Traders
by Jerimee R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/13/2017 18:01:35

This document is what it says it is, and has no significant flaws.

That said, it has little to recommend it in terms of creativity. If you want stock post-apoc characters this is a perfectly acceptable resourse. If you are looking for new ideas or inspiration, these are characterizations, with maybe one exception, you've seen before.

You won't find any surprises here.
