Andre is a great GM dedicated to his craft beyond the point of reason :) Using these straightforward LARP rules we were able to have in-depth character discussions without a loss of drama. The rules engine he has created allows you to clearly arbitrate character conflict without throwing you out of the narrative. Even if you are not lucky enough to play in one of Andre's games yourself; I highly recommend that you give these rules a try, I think you will be greatly satisfied! I have played LARPs for about as long as it has been "a thing" and Madness and Mayhem is a nice new addition to the hobby.
