Pewter or plastic minis are great but can be cost prohibitive when amassing a reasonable variety for a campaign. Arion Games paper minis are a cost effective alternative that look great and can be printed in whatever quantities are needed. When printed on cardstock, they are also fairly durable. Most come in both 2-sided and 3-sided formats and all are in full color. Even if you intend to acquire more traditional miniatures over time, these paper miniatures are an outstanding base from which to start. Highly recommended although I am not as big a fan of the Dalcassian line as opposed to some of the others.

Very Nice Set ! I love the basic structure, colors and there are enough different figures to cover the needs of my campaign games (which are more military Man-to-Man with some elements of role play). A few more military figures would be nice, mostly because I just like these. Keep up the good work.

Arion continues to pump out the best looking miniature sets in the hobby. This set is no exception. I bought this set a while ago, and I'm happily still printing from the set every now and again. I use the Darcassians as the race which comprises the galactic nobility. They work well for this purpose, as powerful but enigmatic rulers. The minis helped to inspire their place in our homemade setting. I can't ask for much more than a set of inspiration minis.

LIKED: The art work is beautiful and inspirational.

DISLIKED: OK, so I also have Darcassians II, but that doesn't mean that there can't be a Darcassions III or yet another alien race done to this level of variety and detail.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
These little guys are a bit of a niche product, depending on the flavor of your campaigns. I find them just a little too comical too use in my serious sci-fi space opera or modern X-Files-type UFO game, but they'd be perfect for a tongue-in-cheek Men in Black campagn, or for use with the Pulp Sci-Fi set also from Arion Games. I may not be the target audience, but this is till a well-done set.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
I thought this whole computer generated figures thing looked really cool and just happened to have a module where I needed a bunch of little green men so it seemed like the perfect excuse to give them a go. And I really do like both these flats and this way of making flats. Not so sure about some of the other aliens included - I would have been happier with a bigger selection of darcassians but I daresay they will come in handy some day.

For the amount of money involved these are excellent figure flats.

LIKED: Choice of what style of flat to print and make is nice, also the fact that there is advice on the company website, and in included in the later pdf's, on creating your own sheets using their images to build vrtual armies of any given figure or combination of, or just making them bigger and smaller.

DISLIKED: The topped triagonal flying saucer didn't go together so well, I would recommend cutting the top to fit after having folded the sides together to enusre a snug fit.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
