Disposable Heroes: Critters Set 2 (Farm & Domestic)

these figure do provide a wide selection of animals and are drawn nicely. While some people might not think they are much use I must disagree. In most ancient society wealth was in form of things owne d more then in actual coins and gems. So a wealthy man might not own a silver coin but own hundreds of cows and sheep. And stealing ones enemies livestock is a time honored tradition in mamy parts of the world In a scenario I came up with after I purchased these figured I had the enemy clan of my players steal the local sheep and of course they had to get them back( And if they brought back extra the clan elders of course would be more then happy0

LIKED: nICE DRAW AND IT ALLOWS YOU TO MAKE A PAGE OF WHAT EVER YOU NEED

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
With hercules, 3 amazons and the monster this set I think would be of more for some one doing a rollplaying game in Ancient Greece then a historical gamer. Main problem in my opinion is lake of light troops, no archers, slingers or javilmen are included. Perhaps we can hope for Greeks II?

LIKED: Nice looking figures

DISLIKED: lack of light troops

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Thanks for the comments. As you can probably appreciate, we try to produce a set that can be used in any greek-style game, and so the presence of Mythical creatures & personages is seen as essential by some and superfluous by others. We do have some more greek figures planned, and will try and release either another greeks set or at least some freebies soon.

Another nice set.Has a few more civilian types then some might like, but they would be nice for a roll playing gamer. Might add that since you get both a frame and 3 side figure is a nice bonus for some of use. I prefer the a frame for most figures but for larger figures like mounted one and chariots i use the 3 side figures

LIKED: Nice figure for anyone interested in Roman figures

DISLIKED: One of the gladiators looks like he been taking steriods. Litle over the top but some will like it I guess

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Just bought this set and its everything the other writers have said the figures are great either as ancient celts or generic barbarians for a fantasy game. The only complaint I have is the set did not include either a Celtic slinger or a Noble warrior in Chainmail. perhaps we can see them in Celtics II

LIKED: figures are nice.

DISLIKED: Would have like to have seen a slinger and a Noble inChain included

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Thanks for your comments. We are glad you liked this set, and are currently evaluating several sets to see if a follow-up is appropriate. If not, we will be sure to put a Slinger and a Chain-clad noble in our freebie or bonus sections on our website. Graham
