WILD: Dream Dive Training Simulation

This game is very unique. You can feel the influence of movies like Inception all over it. As explained in the description the main focus of this game is dreams and tarot cards. The cards are very important as they define how things are done and how the imagery on the cards are interpreted for the settings. The game does have a solo mode which I would say is more of a tutorial for the game rather than a full solo experience but this can be fleshed out if you wanted to make this a pure solo experience. The group dynamic is where the most creativity went into the game. The players pick one person to be the "dreamer" and everyone else is joining them in the dream world. Cause to much crazy and the dreamer may wake up bringing everyone out of the dream. The game is fun if you are looking for something different. No dice needed to play, but if you dont have a tarot deck to use around the table there is a table you can roll on instead. While the game says that you can use any traditional tarot deck, I will point out that you will want a deck that has images for the minor cards. Some decks do not and they will not work as well without referencing the book. I would suggest getting the custom deck for this game though. I found that the interpretations of each card did not match with my knowledge of tarot and it caused a bit of confusion without referencing the meaning of the cards in the game but it wasnt a deal breaker for me. To wrap up, it is a very fun game that uses tarot as oracles and "dice". I wish the solo mode was more solid as I can see this being something I would play more by myself as my group found it fun but not enough to replace put more traditional rpg games

Untold Encounters of the Random Kind

This is a great book of random encounters spread across three different environments. Each chapter lays out what to expect and offers advice on how to blend encounters from different areas together to create something fun and original. There are even adventures included that use the options found in the book. Just know that this book is about random encounters to generate plots and events and does not focus on characters or items except in the most basic way as needed by the event or boon. My only complaint is that the pdf does not have chapters or a linked table of contents in this current version. Hopefully this get updated to make it more user friendly in the future. Highly recommend the book for standard and solo play.

Love this deck. Shipping costs from their website was way to expensive internationally. So happy to grab the PDF here for so cheap, and like the review below, I printed and slipped them onto some magic cards and sleeves. Works great! Thanks for making this an option for me

Very good reference book. Just know that everything in it can be found in the core book. With that said I use this more than the core book while playing because it condenses all the tables and everything else into an easy to find rulebook, and I only use the core book to clarify any rules I need.

This is by far my favourite solo rpg. The game is well thought out and is not another OSR clone with oracles. The game mechanics are very intuitive and original and the dice mechanics are some of the best and honestly my favourite way to roll now. Print edition is top notch as well. A high quality binding and page thickness with crisp printing. I cant recommend this enough. Get it.

Alien Ass, Hydrogen Gas, or Cosmic Grass... No One Warps For Free

Once again Venger knocks another supplement for Alpha Blue out of this galaxy! This book adds even more tables, scenarios and characters to the sleaziest space rpg on the planet. The switch to full colour since the last book carries over here with some amazing artwork. The writing is very well done and will add so much to any game with an adult sci-fi theme, not just Alpha Blue. Hopefully this is not the last book in the series, but if it is then it is going out with a bang!
