I was thrilled to see an update on Professor Muerte (now only Muerte) and Terror Inc. - villains I loved to use in my past hapions campaign back in the days.
But, unfortunately, I am not very impressed by the product:
Lots of typos, Feuermacher's name is misspelled as "Fuerer", Feuermachermacher" and whole passages are more than once doubled - proofreading was optional it seems because these mistakes could have been discovered by even a casual reading.
Then there are other doublings: More than once you get the information about Muerte trying to take over Peru and his dastradly plan - but what this plann is, is basically: Taking over.
San Muerte, his new island that he has taken over covertly, is really dumb in my opinion: Not only that it is a public state flaunting his name, but the masterplan is to (SPOILER) to kepe it hiddenly running by maskerading as a powerful "Sprit of the Island" and giving police powers to streetgangs controlled by one of his coronies. And, surprise: the gangs do a better job than regular police ... (that is even stupid for comic books).
Thzere are adventures - I would call them "scenario ideas" - that are basically for the gm to re-invent and bpil down to: Heroes go places, there is EUROSTAR, Muerte und other villains (the more, the merrier) and thena big superfight!
I can come up with someting like that in less than a hardbeat.
Artwork ranges from very good (the Strorn-stuff) to "You gotta be kidding" (compter generated figures - all the same with different costume colors). The maps of hideout are okay - nothing specila but well enough.
Stats and all seem to be all right - Hero Designer is a well enough tool and I did not see any goofy power designs or stupid powers - nope: Stats are in order.
So, if you really need everything on Professor Muerte and Terror Inc. - buy it. Some stuff on his personally is okay reading if you can see past the typos and the doubled passages.
But if you just want some background to use him and his merry gang for your game I would look for soem other product.
