A good set for d20 modern. good artwork. Wished there were more soldiers in it with more modern equipment. But overall it's a great value.

Great set of attractive, multi-use figs. The variety is nice, without being too much (three each of cops, swat teams, and such. Two each of most other "classes", and several different modern "adventurers" - something to accomodate just about any modern PC...)

Great product for use with d20 Modern. I was looking for miniatures and could not find a set of FBI, punks, or just plain folk. Once again Microtactix comes through with a good value.

I was pretty happy with this download. The characters offered a wide range, but could use slightly better graphics.

Very nice detail and color. I was hoping for a few more swat and fire types, but hey that's what color copiers and scissors are for!!!!

These figures are excellent, and highly recommended for anybody who's playing in a modern-day or similar game.

I use them in a Cyberpunk game in which I'm a player (not a GM), and they're quite appropriate for that. A good fraction of the figures are "adventurers", which include a gamut of people (many of whom are well armed, and as such work well in a cyberpunk game). Several of the others are "action" types, including policemen, SWAT, and firemen, and there are a good number of innocent bystanders that one might expect to find in a city.

The art is good, the color is greatly appreciated, and the price can't be beat.

Very useful set of cardboard minis, these printed out beautifully and are indispensible for modern era gaming.

This is a very useful product. The figures are well drawn and nicely colored, and there is a decent variety. You only get a few figures of each type, though - e.g., there are only three soldiers. But some figures can do double duty - e.g., the SWAT figures can pass as soldiers in a pinch. And you can always print out extra copies, and mark them in some way if you need to tell them apart.

There are 12 figures labeled "adventurer" (including one with a pair of swords and another with a crossbow), so the folks at Microtactix seem to have d20 Modern players in mind. But the set will be useful for other modern-day games as well.

There are a few things that could have been done to improve the set. For instance, mirror-image figures could have been included, thereby doubling the effective number of figures. TIF files could have been included to allow users to custom-color the characters. And, of course, more figures of each type would have been nice. But these are just quibbles. Overall, I think the set is well worth the $7 price tag, at least considering the scarcity of comparable products.

A fairly decent batch of characters in this set, although a bit on the anemic side for the price. I would have liked to see more figures or less cost. It also might be nice to see each of the characters in both an "action" pose with weapons drawn, and a "standard" pose for when they're not in combat, and perhaps even a "prone" pose you can lay on the table when your character is dead or dying. With those additions this would definitely be worth its price.

These minuses are not a deal-breaker though, since Microtactix is still one of the only companies putting out figures suitable for D20 Modern-style games. The figures in this set expand on the batch in Cheepsville USA, and with those sets and this you should have enough diversity to pack a city block with characters and NPCs. If you need figures not bristling with swords or carrying rayguns, this set and the Cheapsville USA sets are still some of the best (and only) deals around.
