Quactica: Battles for the Soul of Middle Aesopia

Have you ever wanted to lead a fearless band of armed Quacedonian ducks against the porcine hordes of Porkor, even though you may also have to face the frenzy of Sporks mounted on Timber Chihuahua? Ever wonder if your Hosstrich cavalry can stand against the Dark Felines on their Pit Poodles? Has a JobberQuackie or a Hareball eaten your scout?

With Quactica, you can find out. The game mechanics are simple, especially if you've ever played a skirmish game from someone else. What you'll find here and no where else, though, is a sense of humor heavily dosed with outrageous puns (the Dark Felines came to Middle Aesopia when Catlantis sank...) and spiff artwork (the Hareball alone is worth the admission).

Inside all this is a thoroughly well-thought world with all the familiar fantasy forces twisted just a half-bubble off-plumb. Ten minutes into reading this and I abandoned my own fantasy world without a tear.

Buy it. Read it. Play it.
