Eorathril One of the best low magic OSR games I have encountered. Cannot wait for new material for the game to come out.

Spectral Hunger
by Justin S.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 01/23/2019 12:12:31
Spectral Hunger This is a really cool supplement for a surprisingly low price. I'm not an Ordo Dracul fan, but as someone who plays and STs I can see ample use for the powers here among players and NPC antagonists. That said, the writer points out that to really get use out of this you will need one of the books that has rules for ephemeral entities (absent in Vampire the Requiem 2e). These can be found in Chronicles of Darkness 2e, the second editions of Werewolf the Forsaken, Mage the Awakening, and Promethean the Created, as well as Demon the Descent. The first is Lemurifex which is a full Discipline, anyone can learn once they do a certain deed. 1-5 Discipline abilities, and 2 Devotions and 1 Merit. This Discipline is all about ghosts, and if you were rightfully disappointed with the ghost-oriented Disciplines in first edition, including the abilities of the Dragolescu bloodline, this will definitely be what you want. The power comes at ghosts the way vampires do with humans. They're prey, too...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition
by Stephen S.
Publisher: Onyx Path Publishing
Date Added: 01/23/2019 10:16:25
Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition First off, i really like what they've done with the game. This is the Werewolf I remember and love, and they've done away with the mistakes of the Revised system. The systems are so close to the same that I can still use my old books. Other than updating things for the last 20 years, there are no great surprises here. Given the size of the tome, and the fact that it includes so much, like the other changing breeds, I don't begrudge the price, either for the pdf or the printing. That said, the binding on the Premium book absolutely sucks. I've had it for a bit over a month and the front cover is already separated from the book. Sure, the paper feels nice and it looks beautiful, but the cover shouldn't already be detached. Hell, I've barely used it as I got the pdf at the same time and have been reading that almost exclusively. It pretty well assures I'll never by a printed work by Drivethru in the future. So, buy the PDF and enjoy, don't pay for printing. Hell, take it to Staples ...

Urban Manhunt: the Miniatures Game
by Michael S.
Publisher: Spectrum Games
Date Added: 01/23/2019 10:11:21
Urban Manhunt: the Miniatures Game GREAT competative miniatures game that also works very well for solo gaming. Rulebook is lavishly illustrated with art that extrudes the feel of "The Running Game" and similar movies. Editorials and Setting Articles give a solid understanding of the game's premise and the rationale for game rules implementation. Really like the straight-forward rules for creating your own Hunters and the wide range of options for making them yours. Card-based Crims activtion is very straight-forward and rules are fully explained and examples are provided for all critical game activities. Have already dugout my old Necromunda terrain and miniatures and have started design of a modular 3ftx3ft playing board. Please keep this line moving forward. Really looking forward to expansions. Only one question: When can we see printed versions for rules, and more importantly, card sets. Eagerly awaiting with $$ in hand to purchace both. ...

Tintagel's 5E Monster Card Template
by Dominic G.
Publisher: Creative Gremlins

Tintagel's 5E Monster Card Template It's very practical to have heterogeneous groups of monsters on the table, without flipping through the book all the time. I also use it for custom monsters from adventures, the NPCs and to give a bunch of cards to my druid, for his animal forms.

At the Crossroads
by Ugnius D.
Publisher: White Wolf
Date Added: 01/23/2019 05:17:23
At the Crossroads The product contains almost no useful content for STs and no useful content for player characters. When buying this, I hoped to see some handy reference which could be used at the table, or some elaborations on pacts, easing the players/pact usage during the game, however the product has none of that. The product description claims it has summary rules and ready pactsigners. I could somewhat agree that it has helpful content for STs in ready to insert pact signers, or more their concepts, but at least that can be tailored to your game. Summary pact rules are non-existant as far as I'm concerned, as nobody having this product would be able to make a pact in the first place. I hoped to be able to recommend this to my players so they can easily figure out what pacts are and how to make them, but this book has 0 crunch in concern to it. Suggestions to add: A one page reference for pact making, with mechanics/numbers, even if they're not explained in this book (that's what DtD is for), ...

Advanced Adventures #17: The Frozen Wave Satsuma
by Thilo G. [Featured Reviewer]
Publisher: Expeditious Retreat Press
Date Added: 01/23/2019 02:55:57
Advanced Adventures #17: The Frozen Wave Satsuma An Endzeitgeist.com review This installment of the Advanced Adventures-series clocks in at 17 pages, 1 page front/back-cover, 1 page editorial/ToC, 1 page advertisement, 1 page SRD, leaving us with 13 pages of content, so let’s take a look! This review was requested by one of my patreon-supporters. All right, so this module does have a bit of a culture-clash vibe, in that it taps into some Oriental Adventures-style content, but fret not – the material within can be slotted into pretty much any quasi-early-modern-period gaming. If you’re not familiar with some terms employed within, a brief glossary has you covered. As always for the series, the module is penned with the OSRIC rules-set in mind, but can be translated to most OSR games with relative ease. Similarly, as has become tradition for the series, formatting conventions do deviate from the standards set by OSRIC, but are pretty concise in these instances. The module contains 5 new magic items – one that allows a hor...

Star Log.EM-035: Arich

Star Log.EM-035: Arich An Endzeitgeist.com review This installment of the Star Log.EM-series clocks in at 7 pages 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 2 pages of SRD, leaving us with 3 pages of content, so let’s take a look! As always, we start with the query-like meta-narrative of characters accessing the Star Log-databank, and a contextualization, which this around, is pretty entwined with the awesome history of the Xa-Osoro system: The spiderfolk known as Arich are nomads and orphans, survivors of a vanished planet that did not make it into the Nova Age. Stemming from the survivors of a vast vessel, the arich as encountered today represent what was considered to be the best of their species – athletes, scholars, etc., who created an idealized microcosm of the conditio arichana, if you will. Surprisingly, a sense of optimism and openness to other species characterizes their dominant approach to other cultures, and indeed, in a refreshing take on the trope, the arich are not angsty or traumatized. We...

DDAL07-04 A Walk in the Park (5e)
by James C.
Publisher: Wizards of the Coast
Date Added: 01/23/2019 02:13:00
DDAL07-04 A Walk in the Park (5e) While I love the item this adventure rewards the way it ended up in the final version is poorly designed. The adventure has the players avoid getting pickpocketed for almost no real reason with season 8 gold shortage just ignore that whole section. The end section talks about sneaking in and attacking later at night it's just weirdly written. It needs a lot more handwaving then I would like. The grung and the item are the only good things about this mod.

The Overworld and Beyond (13th Age Compatible)
by Ben S.
Publisher: Dread Unicorn Games, LLC
Date Added: 01/22/2019 22:04:37
The Overworld and Beyond (13th Age Compatible) LOADED!!! This book is loaded with fun plot hooks, interesting locations, engaging NPC's, powerful new classes, useful creatures, and tables to keep it all moving forward. There is plenty for players and DM's to get excited about. I'm personally excited to play a Void Caller with a shapeshifting acid spitting Ooze as my beast in our next 13th Age campaign. I'll see you at the city at the edge of dawn, if I'm not swimming in the psychedelic ocean with my Ooze.

Mothership: Player's Survival Guide
by Daniel A.
Publisher: Tuesday Knight Games
Date Added: 01/22/2019 21:50:42
Mothership: Player's Survival Guide Pure OSR with clear systems and a brilliant but simple ship creation system. Everything is here to put together the scaffolding for genuinely interesting character and stories. I would also recomend this to people who enjoyed the first edition of dark heresy or rogue trader but wanted the warhammer lore stripped off. Art wise it is simple but stylish. The gun section is very welcomely illustrated. I always enjoy a goofy example of play so I was sad to see there wasn;t one but thats fair to be honest....

Curst: Unfettered Another solid book from Sebastain Freeman, Curst Unfettered provides us with a new character type called the Curst, the mortal children of a thin-blood vampire. The book introduces new merits and flaws for Curst characters. It includes a setting called Jones-Walker Complex, which stired our play groups emotions. The master of character sheets Mr. Gone loans his skill to this book with a beautiful character sheet for the Curst. The Tabletop Gaming club recommends this book as it has became a welcome addition to our library....

Missoula by Night Missoula by Night is a welcome addition to the by Night series of books. With little knowledge of the real world area, the details provided in the book were enough to engage our players. The characters provided are well defined. The Tabletop Gaming club recommends this to players and storytellers alike.
