pixel_trans.gif DDAL05-05 A Dish Best Served Cold (5e) Great module for AL organized play! fits easily into most time slots, and has some variability in terms of encounters. Variety of ways to engage with the problems presented, and a fun DMPC helper for the final encounter.

Fascinating Items: The Hangar Bay
by William
Publisher: Table 30 Press

pixel_trans.gif Fascinating Items: The Hangar Bay This is a nice small supplement with some clever and interesting vehicles, plus several pages of plot hooks/story ideas. Useful for dropping items into a game. It's well and logically organized, and well laid out as well. And for a three dollar supplement the art is fantastic.

Dragonslayer Role-Playing Game
by Scott
Publisher: OSR Publishing
Date Added: 03/19/2024 12:19:08
pixel_trans.gif Dragonslayer Role-Playing Game The pdf is well worth the purchase price. The conciseness is almost alarming. I checked the same spell or item in AD&D or BX and found a more verbose description. Most of this book will be found spread across more pages in a variety of OSR games. This has random dungeons, hex maps for the wilderness and charts for encounters. The rules seem geared to the individual table. How long is a round? I don’t think the book says. It depends on how you want to play it. The tables may make some of the choices, or I can’t read. There are four great Megadungeons to draw from if you want to play the dungeons it was designed for. Oh, the font is easy for old eyes to read. The book has just the right amount of white space. You can color the illustrations to your heart’s content, or just take notes on the margins. If I get tired reading the book it is because I am old, not from an orange font on a blue background. There may or may not be some holes in the rules. Rounds do not seem to be defined, ...

FDG Custom Bambu Studio Miniatures Profile

pixel_trans.gif FDG Custom Bambu Studio Miniatures Profile Best overall print configuration out there. I have spent a good amount of time trying different things myself, but this configuration slams all the manual settings out of the box. In terms of quality it truly is very close to resin, the lines are barely visible and they can be hidden with a simple layer of primer, but in some cases are truly non-existant. Thank you for this!

Adventures in Rokugan
by Ben
Publisher: EDGE Studio
Date Added: 03/18/2024 21:57:21
pixel_trans.gif Adventures in Rokugan This is probably one of the worst iterations of 5e that I have ever run. If the creators had simply embraced the hack and slash, high adventure nature of 5e as a rule set and created this version of rokugan around that, it would have been a great product. Instead they needlessly clung to the lethal/ low magic version of rokugan that ALREADY HAS A SYSTEM THAT WORKS FOR THAT STYLE OF PLAY. The only classes that are designed well are the bushi, and to a lesser degree, the duelist. Every other class is atrocious, from game play, to power level, to clunky, janky mechanics. This honestly has me questioning if this was even playtested, because in the taken to market form, it's practically unplayable. If you like L5R, but want a more high adventure version, do yourself a favor and just reflavor existing 5e classes. This is absolute and utter basura....

pixel_trans.gif The Wedding Ship If you are looking for a dramatic adventure, character immersion and the opportunity to perfect your pirate voice, with extensive monologues, the Wedding Ship by RAZ of Bardic College might be right up your alley. Set in Jamestown, you encounter pirates, a prophet, a brothel, a naval battle and Lovecraftian horrors. Your actions have consequences and each choice leads to potential disaster. Well researched and a good mix of humor and violence. Comes with pre-generated characters, enjoyable for new or experienced players and perfect for 4 or 5 at the table....

The Dragon Horde Zine Issue #1
by Joshua
Publisher: New Big Dragon Games Unlimited
Date Added: 03/18/2024 19:23:35
pixel_trans.gif The Dragon Horde Zine Issue #1 Great 'Zine! It's no Kobold Quarterly or Dragon, but an obvious labor of love by a true gamer. A couple of cool unique characters, some charts and maps, drawings, and adventure called "The Undertemple of Arkon, a few tales/short stories, weapons; dude, this is the kind of thing I've always wanted to do but have absolutely no time or technology to accomplish. One can never go wrong reading things like this. The author's own "Old School" style system (Old School Adventures or OSA) seems to be the basis for everything and looks like everything could be easily converted to whatever OS Game you might play. Very well done....

7th Kind

pixel_trans.gif 7th Kind This was such a fun game. It took around 3 hours with three players. I had each level up one so they felt a bit of autonomy with the character. The had a good time. It was a fill in for a game session where two players out of five had to miss and this was perfect fill in for the session. I liked the characters offered, the situation, and the NPCs as well. I did set a few items apart, such as giving security better shooting and the captain a leadership edge and those type of simple shifts. Great $2 fun and laughs. The only other thing I would have found helpful would have been a quick sketch of the ship....

Mountaintop Isolation: A Wretched & Alone Solo TTRPG
by Belén
Publisher: La Lionne Publishing
Date Added: 03/18/2024 15:39:25
pixel_trans.gif Mountaintop Isolation: A Wretched & Alone Solo TTRPG I just loved Mountaintop Isolation. It was my first solo journaling ttrpg, and I enjoyed it tons. By playing you get to flesh out a lot about your character, and the option to do video entries makes it even more authentic. It can be heart-wrenching, introspective, and even scary at times. When you really get into it, the solitude feels real. I'll be on the lookout for any other ttrpg by La Lionne Publishing!

pixel_trans.gif Classic Traveller Facsimile Edition I still have both the 1977 and 1981 editions of CT, with the supporting cast of Supplements, Adventures, et alia. I bought a copy of this and paired it with an extra copy of Citizens of the Imperium to give players a better choice of Career other than Other. Quite satisfied with the print quality and having the Errata handy is a good addition.

The Uncanny Highway – Blue Plate Special Edition
by Eireann
Publisher: Daniel James Hanley
Date Added: 03/18/2024 15:01:15
pixel_trans.gif The Uncanny Highway – Blue Plate Special Edition This was a delight. I've been following this project on the creator's blog for a long while, but there were still a great many lovely surprises in the final version. The tables for highway section tone/themes were very fun, the NPC tables interesting , and the system conversion tables useful. I look forward to using the solo rules to play as soon as I get a chance to print off the relevant sheets. I also wanted to say that the aesthetic elements are very well done. In other books (gaming and general fiction) those elements often prioritize vibes over legibility, but here they not only achieve that balance but go beyond to aid the text. The work is dense enough that it wants a bit of help with separating things out visually and that is achieved in an aesthetically appropriate but not overly dramatic or distracting manner. ...
